Little fur loss

Our 25 week old little guy has lost a little fur in the shoulder crease on his left side. There is no change in diet and he spends the day in A/C only out to pottie, sleeps in bed with us and it is not red, or look irritated just fur is very very thin. Any thoughts?

Have the vet do a scraping

to rule out demodectic mange.  He's at the age where it could be that.  Demodex is just a little immune deficiency and they will give you something to treat it.  It could also be a hot spot or a little staph infection.  Hard to say with no pic but the vet will tell you what it is.  Def get it checked.

I would also put your pup on a Vitamin C supplement to help boost the immune system up. I give 500mg daily in pill form...

I took him and you are exactly right we got some meds that will take care, thanks as always folks are great resources on our board :)

so you can start treating him.  Went through it with Onslow too.  Good luck with your little guy.
