are 2 completely different surgeries for different problems.
So it is important to know what they are doing the surgery for. Laser is typically used for both.
Entropian is where the eye lid rolls inward causing the hair on the outer side of the eye to rub on the eyeball. The surgery to correct this is typically done with laser, cutting a small incision on the outside of the lid (could be either upper, lower or both) and taking a sliver of skin, then suturing the incision. Kind of like plastic surgery lid lift.
Distichia is where eye lashes grow inward or on the inside of the eye lid. When they laser these they zap each eye lash with the laser and it kills the lash folicle. Sometimes this has to be done more then once because they don't always get all the lashes with one session.

Thank you
Thank you for responding and bringing clarity to the issue. Hopefully our little guy will bounce back quickly from the surgery that is much needed.
