Large lump on the right side of my bulldog below the rib cage.
Submitted by GEORGIA3 on July 4, 2011 - 2:07amOvernight my Bulldog Georgia developed a large lump just below her ribcage. She is 3 years old and this came out of nowhere. Has anybody experienced anything like this? Her behavior is normal. The lump feels hard.

Could you post a picture of it? Is it scabby or just a lump under the skin? Does she display any other symptoms/pain (painting, excessively tired, not usual energy level)??
My roommate's bully has a lump similar to what you described, after a few tests and x-rays it turns out it was just a calcium deposit (or something similar). But it was definintely scary when we first noticed it. Hopefully that's all that is going on with your pup.
