Immodium Dosage

Dolly Mae has had Diarrhea for the past few days:-( 4 or 5 months ago, she had the same and the vet said I could give her immodium and suggested I purchase the 1mg per loperamide HCl per 5ml solution liquid. Problem is, that at the time she was 9 lbs and now she is 31lbs and I have no clue regarding the appropriate dosage. I tried the vets office yesterday, but her vet is on vacation and no-one else returned my message. If anyone has used immodium in the past to treat, I would love to hear the dosage and frequencies you found worked best.

used Immodium but just wanted to say I hope she feels better!

The good news is that she is acting 100% normal and is getting plenty of fluids. The bas news is that the poor thing has been getting me up 3-4 time per night to go and not always quite making it outside. At this point, I am very thankful for paper towels and clorox green spray!!!!!
i always
use the childrens dose....that way you cant over dose....
