How long does food stay in stomach??
Submitted by 2bds2010 on October 10, 2010 - 10:47amRoxy is a puker. She always has been. She eats "stuff" then throws up. Well this morning I found her throw up but something strange.....Food that she has not eaten in almost 2 weeks. SHe was getting Sojo's which is a veggie blend in addition to her chicken. I could clearly see the swelled up pieces of veggies ( and a ton of grass) Could she have a blockage??? Or does she digest slow...........................
Could be whatever they make that mix out of is....
Particularly hard to digest. I have had a dog throw up something eaten a couple week prior, but it was always from a toy of some sort of other. Never a food item.
It is NOT normal for a dog to throw up frequently with no reason. I would talk to your vet about this, it could be something you need looked at and taken care of by a doc:-)
