Hi all. Ollie's ears do not seem to be a lot better. Olive oil and garlic?

We had a cencus worker the other day who was asking about our kids second home nearby, and we started talking about our bullies.  She has a four year old female (she lives a few counties away).  She told me that she uses a homeopathic remedy for ears by mixing garlic with olive oil, then letting it steep in the sun for a few days.  I am skeptical about things like that, but the Mometamax doesn't seem to be helping her right ear a lot.  Any thoughts or experience with this, anyone? Thanks!

Maggie

ears are a sign....

when you have ear problems or body   problems...itching digging ect...these are the bodies wayr  of saying i am having an allergic reaction to something....untill you can figure out what your friend is allergic to....nothing is going to work.....yes that will help.....i like tea tree oil with oil...tee tree soothes the ears and itch and pain..also helps keep the yeast from growing,,,,but i really suggest you dig into what your feeding and treats your giving.....to eliminate the problem...

good luck

the oil will go rancid!

an old italian remedy for earaches is warm olive oil. it does help. that said, if you put oil out in the sun and leave for days it WILL go rancid. i def. wouldnt use that method on my bully. just mho of course.
