Tucker just turned 3 years old in December and has had 2 head tremors since yesterday. He also had 1 a few weeks ago. He has never had head tremors until now. He has been on the same food for over 6 months so I wouldn't think it would be food related. I've noticed the 3 head tremors he has had just happens when he first wakes up from taking a nap. He walks and is responsive when he has the tremors but i'm just worried because he had never had them before. Any ideas or suggestions?
It could be low blood sugar...
try giving him a spoonful of Karo syrup or ice cream and see if that helps. I believe there is information on head tremors on the home page.
Low blood sugar....
It very well could be food related. Sophia gets head shakes on foods with low sugars, it can take a while to see a reaction in her but if it happens and I change foods, it stops. Natural Balance is the only grain free food that hasn't caused head tremors in her. All dogs are different though and what works for one may not work for another...
