Head Shakes

Sorry I have been away so long just been real busy with school and work anyway, on Sunday Spanky had his first head shake and he had another one on Tue. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it and if you know of anything to make it better. Thanks in advance!

What are you feeding? I have found that for Sophia, head shakes are directly food related. Other may have different medical reasons that head shakes are present, but for us the solution was as simple as a change in her diet. You can give a tablespoon of peanut butter, ice cream, karo syrup, etc, is a pretty fast fix short term. Also, if your bully has recently undergone anesthesia for anything, that could be a reason for the head shakes.

We feed him canidae grain free and he has been on this formula for awhile now. He has undergone 3 surgeries but that was almost a year ago. I will try your tips, thanks again!

I suggest a food change.
Canidae is good, but teh grain free needs to be rotated to different varieties to get the correct nutrition. I am feeding Natural Balance grain free and rotate bacgs about every 3rd bag. Sophie gets head hakes if I don't. I stay within the NB brand, just different variety.

I'm trying a multivitamin for now, I don't want to take a chance w/ changing his food again he has real bad allergies and a weak digestive system. here are the ingredients from the multivitamin it actually has alot of good stuff that my boy needs I wish I could find it in a tablet form though it is really expensive and he doesn't always eat all of the food I put it on.
