'thing' on his nose that can be cleaned with a tissue/q-tip, but it turns out to make it bleed. I tried to really clean his nose to see what was going on and it looked like a hole. I hope you can see what I'm talking about in this picture (it's the spot in the center). It's a greyish/green color when I'm not messing with it, but as soon as I go to clean it, the spot bleeds. It's painful for him too. The more I tried to clean up the blood the more he was struggeling to get away and ended up shaking.

just put a little
vaseline on his nose...what are you trying to clean it with?
Just qtips or wash cloth with water. It bleeds immediately
after the nose gets moisture on it.

Whole Dog Journal has an article about nose issues this month..
anything that bleeds easily should be checked by your vet. It could be a fissure/crack that needs meds. The pic looks like his nose is green. Could be a fungus. I'd go get it checked.
Lube it up
with something like Vaseline, Aquaphor, Bag Balm. Rub in a dab 2x daily for a week or so and all the crusty stuff will come off.
hmmmm....
It does look like a tiny puncture....maybe he was stung? Don't know. If it continues to bleed/hurt you'll need to take him to vet in case something's stuck in there. Good luck!
