If you look at the ingredients you will see that Tylan (Tylosin) is the 'active' component. For much cheaper $ you can just give the Tylan power and it will do a better job more quickly.

and it works but it is an antibiotic. It did not stop her face from smelling but it did stop the staining. After months on it Audrey started throwing up everyday, we did not think of the AE as a contributing factor at the time, but later on I did wonder if long term use destroyed the good digestive bacteria. Once we stopped it the stains came back immediately. A drastic diet change and no more antibiotics and she stopped throwing up and her face didn't smell bad anymore. We have not used it again.
