Has anyone dealt with Polyps?
Submitted by Sally's Mom on October 2, 2011 - 12:14pmSally went to the vet the other day because I noticed she had been straining to have a BM lately. I changed her food last month (from TOTW to Prescription DD) at the suggestion of our vet due to allergy testing. I thought perhaps the food was making her constipated, but it turns out after doing an exam on her that she has a small polyp on the left side of her inner anus opening. You can't see it, but he could feel it. Vet wasn't sure what caused it, so I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and/or what treatment is used. I am stumped on how to handle this. Deanne

their are two ways
i would try the first and use some prep H...to bring the swelling down...the second is have it removed...both ways done in humans....try the prep h for a week or two....
