okay so I'm freeking out.
Switched Bunnies food to taste of the wild lamb...
I thought this would help with yeast build up and itchy feet.
its been about a week and I can still see her skin turn pink on her
Head..and now her hair has turned Corse and it is falling out at an alarming rate....back to the vet but in the mean time anyone have any ideas what's going on? She was on cephlexen I gave her yogurt every day to try and help with yeast. It seemes like the harder I try the further back we slide!
Oh and I have been spraying her feet with anti fungus spray and it does help with itchies.
Poor baby all this piled on her an she still so sweet.

A good additive

this will help with the dry skin, although it usually takes a few weeks to see a big difference.

Maybe the vet should try another course of the cephalexin?
My vet put Tuffy on a long course of it to try to kick the recurrent staph infections he kept getting.
She probably
can't tolerate Lamb. You have to find out what protein she can eat. Maybe she would be a candidate for allergy testing?
I can tell you TOTW (their salmon one) did not work for Ester at all, she got a terrible staph infection and after $500 bucks I got it cleared up. She can not tolerate Salmon. If I give her too much salmon oil she pukes.
Every dog is different (just like people).
I have had great luck with Bison, Venison and Duck as a protein base. The fibble I'm feeding is grain free Duck and Turkey. I also feed Naturs Variety raw patties. Ester doesn't seem to tolerate Chicken she she gets Beef, Venison, Bison and the other 2 can eat any of it.
Hope she gets some relief and you find something that works for her.
How long
Until the yogurt starts kicking the yeast build up?
I have been giving two tablespoons in the morning,
Should I give her more? She loves her yogurt so much when I get
Out the tub from fridge she turns circles I swear I can
Almost hear her say " yeah yeah yeah" lol so cute.
So to the vet on Monday with my list, have to schedule a teeth
Cleaning anyway may as well get that done as well.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Give it a month or more to kick the yeast...
And as Deb said, lamb is a strong reactive to some dogs. Sophia can't eat it at all or she is a mess. To help your girl, I would do a tablespoon of plain, fat free yogurt 2x a day. Try 1 Norwegian Salmon oil pill daily (easy to buy at Walmart), my girls eat them whole right in their breakfast. Give 500 mg of vitamin c daily. It will take a month on the new routine to see a difference, but try it.
As for food, try Natural Balance in the duck or venison or bison variety. See what that will do over 30 days. If no improvement, then allergy tests are in order. You have to give time for the issues to clear up. One more thing....do you do a monthly flea med? I know if I am not diligent in this, Sophie will be a mess from flea allergies.
Good luck!

thank you
Its been driving me crazy.
I looked over her real well and did find one or two fleas.
She is currently on frontline.

I use either Advantage topical or
Comfortis pill form. The Advantage, in my opinion, is the best topical out there. If your girl has a flea allergy and even one flea, that could be her whole issue:-) It is with Sophie!
