I think because the weater has been cooler has also helped. I got that fragrance free stuff from walgreens and it completely worked! She also got a red sore mark directly under her eye and it looked like she scratched it when we weren't home so I got some eye wipes and tried to keep it dry by putting cornstarch there. I knew it was too close to the eye to use the desitin but the cornstarch seemed to work! Her eyes water a lot. The vet is keeping an eye on it because she may need to have them fixed. I am constantly - like 10 times a day, wiping her eye area to make sure it's dry. Im so glad the red, rawness is gone! Definitely give it a try cuz it worked for me!

That's great that its getting better. We wipe Tuckers eye with a wipe and then dry it with a round cotton pad. I wanted to try the neosporin but i can't get it here. I think it has something in it that the Canadian or Ontario health organization doesn't allow here. I assume the desitin is a zinc based diaper ointment type of thing? I have some penaten here which is a zinc oxide based diaper cream that i don't like to use on my daughter(sticky) so that might work as well. He gets some redness on each side of his nose once in a while and we have something from the vet that works well but i'm not sure that it should be put under his eye as i'm afraid he'd rub his eye and it would get in it. He gets the nose redness and irritation when he's been running and it gets damp from being hot. I think the heat and humidity has been part of the issue with his eye. Glad to hear Gracies eye is better and i'm crossing my fingers that the eye wateriing isn't or doesn't become a serious issue.
she is much better thanks!
