gooey nose fold
Submitted by 2bds2010 on November 7, 2010 - 11:21pmThe last few days Roxy has had oozing corners of her nose rope. Its where the end meets her nose. I cant seem to make it better. Tried her malaseb shampoo. and ACV. keeping it clean and dry. Every morning I look at it it's all 
gooey again. What is this????

It might help to apply Desitin after you clean and dry.

What really is the best thing to to clean those nose wrinkles?
I have tried daily but gemma still gets brown stuff in there that is difficult to get out! Any easy way to do it?
I buy the little cotton
I buy the little cotton squares at walmart in the make up section and put them in a container with 1/2 alcohol and half vinegar and wash my dogs nose rope every night with that.
just rubbing alcohol, and
just rubbing alcohol, and white vinegar? I live out of the USA so it is hard for me to get some of this cleaning stuff in China. I'll wait to double check then i'll try it. Thanks!! :)
Farley had the same thing last week. I cleaned them out with
cotton squares and Chlorhexidine solution, dried them and put a thin layer of Animax in there. Within two days they were completely cleared up.
I use this from the vet
Entederm and it is gone within a day or two..it's also good for tail pockets

I use Wet-ones antibacterial wipes
a couple of times a week and have no problems. Be careful not to over clean, it can do more harm then good.

My experience...
was that it's the diet. Angel eyes did work but you might have to keep using it through out the year. So what I have found to work hands down the best was food with salmon.
It stops yeast and stains.
