food question
Submitted by kelli on November 14, 2010 - 8:31pmI want to change my puppy,5 months old, to a different brand of food,he is currently eating Science Diet,small bites for puppies. I have heard its really not a good food for bulldogs & want some suggestions as to what I should change to. I really don't want to make the food but would rather buy it. Any suggestions & why I would really appreciate...thanks!!!
I suggest a grain free food
There are many to chose from so I suggest getting one that is readily available in your area. IMO, Science Diet is junk.
Grain free here too...
Our guys are on Taste of the Wild lamb but I'm going back to the TOTW salmon since one of my guys is a little itchy on the lamb. The grain free does help with tear stains, icky tails, etc.
Our breeder started Maggie on the same...
We switched her to Natural Balance Venison & Sweet Potato (another grain free as the previous posters mentioned) at about that age. She's done great on it.
