Fishy stuff coming from bum ?

Hello guys

Every so often our Bulldog has a fishy liquid coming from his bum. If we can catch it right away its ok, but if we dont he sometimes gets it on something and that rilly sucks.

So my question is, is there anything we do to help with this problem and has anyone else had to deal with this with there bullys ? ?

It could be his anal glands emptying...

You could take him to a vet or a groomer and have them expressed periodically, that might help them to not express on your furniture.  Usually dogs with good, solid poops won't have this problem because they will express during the bowel movement.  That would be my guess as to what it is, I know it stinks something awful.

That is definitely an anal gland stink. Our little girl gets that often. A lot of times if you get them expressed by the vet it will go away for a while.
