A few questions about bulldog w/ allerigies on new diet:

Thanks to all for the advice. We are now feeding him boiled bround beef and brown rice.

Since we started feeding him this diet, he rarely drinks water. He used to go to the water bowl at least half a dozen times a day. Is this normal?

Also, he used to poop at least once a day on conventional dog food. Not so on hs new diet. Maybe once every 2/3 days. Is this his body adjusting to the new routine?

Now that he is no longer eating conventional (crunchy) dog food, how do we manage his teeth cleaning? Obviously we brush his teeth from time to time, but is there anything we can give him to naturally clean his teeth.

it takes alot of water

to digest grain....when you switch to a raw diet its very normale to see water intake cut in half...also they poop less because their is not so much by product to poop out....the food their taking in is being used.....use knuckle bones...lamb bones...to teeth clean...

how are the allergies do they seem less? is he more comfortable?

remember you need to still think about a reg diet for him...this is just to clean him out for a better diet....
