My dog is in her last week to week and a half of pregnancy and the past two days she won't eat unless I hand feed her. Yesterday I put one teaspoon of plain natural yogurt on her kibble and she ate a good portion of the food but I was worried about giving her the yogurt because of the extra calcium. Is a teaspoon or table spoon of yogurt safe to give to her this late in her pregnancy? She has been on puppy kibble the past week and a half and was wolfing it down no problem. I know she will probably stop eating the day before labour but it's too soon right now and I'm worried that the pups aren't getting enough nutrients.
