Fatboy has aspiration pneumonia.

Of course this wasn't event he first thing on my mind when we walked through the door but the vet told us right off the bat this was a possibility and offered to take x-rays. He even gave Fatboy a shot for the swelling he saw in his throat (due to vomitting). So now we have three new meds to give, one of which is amoxicillin. The tech said since the cephalexin was too strong for Fatboy the amoxicillin would be easier on his stomach.
It's so much of a relief to know what the problem was! Glad I can now get him back on the road to recovry.
