My pup needs a bile acid test before a major operation. Does anyone have advice about fasting? Should I wake her up and feed her in the middle of the night just before the twelve hour fast begins? Should I keep her on a regular schedule and just ignore feeding her?

I appreciate your advice as seasoned owners, this whole experience has just been awful! It means the world to me that there is a place where you post solutions/remedies to so many of the issues my pup is having as a result of a congenital liver defect. The support I have gotten from individual private mesages and as a "lurker" browsing forums has helped me carry on when it seemed like an uphill battle, thank you all!
