Eye thingee...

Hi all... I'm trying not to panic, but James has a pimple looking thing in the corner of his eye (inside corner, by the nose wrinkle).  If he was human, I would think its a sty.  Its on the outside, so I'm pretty sure its not a cherry eye thing.  It popped up within hours of his bath, and I washed his face for the first time in a while yesterday, dont know if thats related.  Anyone seen anything like this.  It has not gotten worse, if anything it may be a little better after a good nights sleep.

Can you get a picture of it?

Gizmo had a Sty and we used warm compresses on it (she didnt like it) but then it finally cleared up, almost like it worked whatever it was out (like a Zit?) for lack of better description

Cupcake had something similar

Cupcake had something similar in the corner of her eye but it was on outer corner...it looked like one of her zits she gets every so often.  It went away on its own in about 5 days and hasn't been back.

Maybe it is a reaction to the

Maybe it is a reaction to the soap from the bath.  Maybe you could give him a Benedryl and see how it looks in the morning?

Brewer gets then all the time

Brewer gets then all the time and the vet says they are pimple like stys. As long as the dog is not trying to itch or irritate them it will go away on its own. Brewer gets then every very once and a while by his eyes, by the nose and away from the nose on the outside and also by his mouth. But if you are concerned you can always take him to the vet.

Thanks everyone--

it went away within a few days.  As you all suggested, I tghink it was a zit or reaction-- luckily nothing serious.
