eye goobers
Submitted by HOLLAND75 on August 2, 2011 - 11:03pmhey all- im posting on both forums so forgive the repeat...are eye goobers normal on bulldogs? i came home and james had them in both eye, nothing crazy, just like a big sticky booger in each eye. kind of offwhite color. i have seen this on bulldogs before but should i be concerned? thanks!

are fine. He may need some liquid tears to add a little lubricant to his eyes. When its hot and dry you may see this more. If the eye goobers are green or yellow then there is likely an infection and he needs to be seen by a vet.

Boozer has then mostly in the morning after snoring his head off with the A/C. It's nothing to worry about, most dogs have them. Yellow or greenish can be signs of infection, other than that. It not an issue :-)
