My 10 year old bulldog, Trudy has a very swollen growth (epulis I believe it is called) on the left side of her gum over her incisor tooth that I just noticed around 2 days ago. It is in the very middle of the photo (between the two visible teeth) and mostly covers her incisor tooth. It is about the size of a large raspberry. I checked to make sure she does not have hair or some type of object around it. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to take her to the vet but am curious if any others have any experience with this. Trudy is not bothered in the least by it as far as any pain or difficulty eating. I would greatly appreciate any input as I am extremely concerned about this mostly because of her age.
