Dumb red lump won't go away 1 week and growing

It is bigger than the darkest spot and about double the size of a pea.  When it first appeared last week I put neosporin on it but it wasn't doing the trick at all.  This is something really weird and it has gotten bigger in the last week since it first appeared.  I'm going to take him to his vet to have it taken care of tomorrow afternoon but I was wondering if anyone has had anything like this with their Bully so I know what to expect :/

Thanks so much in advance

Hey

I hope its nothing big just something some ointment will clear up, I love the last pic of that lovely bully face.

It looks like a histocytoma

If so, it's benign and usually disappears on it's own in about 3 months. If it itches, you can apply some hydrocortisone cream.

Probably something simple but...

do have it checked.  Ollie had a wartlike thing that was red and it was a mast cell tumor, even fooled the vet, he was so surprised when the biopsy came back.  Just to be safe, have the vet take a look at it.

Did they remove it?

Did they put him under and have it removed?

They did remove it...

it was interesting, we took him in because he had a horrible looking red blisterish thing on his belly.  He had had the wart on his neck for a couple of months also.  We would put cortisone cream on it and it would get smaller and then bigger again.  The vet wanted to take the thing off his belly and said he would remove the wart at the same time since it wouldn't go away.  Well, the belly thing was nothing, but the wart was a mast cell tumor.  So Ollie had to go back in and have more skin removed to get clean margins.  This was a while ago and he has been fine ever since, no more have popped up, thank God.
