subject has been discussed many times. I can't get the search to work.
Kofi's nose is getting dry. I use Aquafphor on it, but remember Dad to Matilda spoke of a better product.
Any help appreciated.
BTW, she's back to eating raw as normal. She must have just beed sad for us.
Love to all.....
dry nose
Firstly, I'm glad she's back to eating and acting like her normal bully-self. :) It always amazes me how incredible perceptive these dogs can be!
I recommend bag balm for dry nose, and it seems to be the preferred "ointment" of choice for a lot of people. You can pick it up for a few bucks at just about any drug store. Putting it on twice a day for 7-10 days will get her nose back in tip-top shape.
Also, I'm still thinking of you and your family. I hope your hearts are mending.
Shannon and Winston :)
My swimming bully buddy!
Bag Balm it is then.
Thanks Shannon.
The family have only happy memories. My son was such a presence. The boys (my two grown grandsons) are still very heartsick, but they are trying to carry on. Russ was such a big part of all our lives. And he was especially close to his sons.
"Time and unforeseen occurrence" befall us all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11.
Russ was playing tennis on Tuesday, got sick that night, went to the hospital Wednesday morning and died on Friday. He never recovered from his surgery. It was crazy sudden.
All the warm thoughts and prayers have been so very comforting to us all.
Hug your family and don't take one moment for granted!
I think Bag Balm has been used pretty successfully here.
I would say maybe try Bag Balm for a week and see if it helps.
Glad she is mending, I hope her momma is too. I love you my friend:-)
Amy and Sophia
Thanks Amy,
We are all mending, although we miss him terribly.
I am so very proud of him that it brings much comfort.
There were over 900 people at his Memorial Service. So many of them told us wonderful ways my son had touched their lives. I knew he was a good man, but just never realized how good.
Thanks you so much for the kind thoughts and prayers.
Snout Soother
Hi Carol I remember Dad to Matilda recommended Snout Soother for noses and dry pads etc. It is made by Natural Dog Company. I Think it works Great!!! Never tried bag balm but my dogs hated the vaseline and I even tried regular chap stick and this product works wonders. I will also keep the bag balm in mind :)
Thanks so much!
I'll try them both.
Snout Soother
is very pricey, but works well and our dogs don't mind it at all.
