Dog pimple?

Zoey has had what looks like a pimple on her face for about 1.5 weeks. Do dogs (bullies, in particular) get pimples? There is only and it is close enough to her mouth where, if I put neosporin on it, she would be able to lick it off. I meant to take a picture to post, but left the house in a mad rush today. I will upload a pic later, but thought I'd go ahead and put the question out there...!

They can.

The first question I would ask is do you feed from stainless steel bowls?  Plastic tends to cause this irritation.  Always trying to wipe the face after they eat and drink will help.  I believe some people use Stridex or human acne pads.  If it doesn't clear up you may need medication.  Good luck!

They do use stainless steel

They do use stainless steel bowls. This is the first I've seen so I had no idea what it was when I saw it on her! I'll try out the acne pad and see if that helps...thanks!

Oh yes...Canine acne is pretty common!

Tuffy is prone to chin acne. You are lucky it's just one. Some people use witch hazel for the acne. Never really worked for me. Maybe just keep it clean and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get inflamed.

kibby gets pimples all the time..

i usually leave it alone and it will dry up and go away on its own. i try to wipe her face with a damp, wringed out cloth after she eats and drinks, it seems to help... especially since she is such a slob!
