or am I the only one??? Sally regurges her food in the morning, with lots of white frothy foam. I absolutely cannot feed her first thing in the morning; have to wait until at least 9 am or so to feed her even a little bit of her 1 cup of food. By the late afternoon she eats better. Just wondering if anyone else has a bully like this. Sally is 2 yrs old and is on the small side...38 lbs.

Have you ever had her palate checked?
Chester used to throw up food and water with foam. We tried giving pepcid, elevating his dishes, etc and nothing worked. He finally had a breathing crisis and almost died due to his palate being elongated and swelling in his throat, probably from allergies. At any rate, they did an emergency surgery to trim the palate, remove tonsils and saccules and three weeks later he's a new dog! No more throwing up and he has a ton more energy. There could be other reasons for her to be doing this, but this is just my experience.
next bully i get i will
next bully i get i will definitely get it done...
i strongly believe it was b/c of that he didn't survive his surgery :*(

Do you feed 2x a day
or once a day. If only once then go to 2 feedings. Try a late night right before bedtime snack. Get the palate checked. Is she a noisey breather? You can have the trach xrayed as sometimes a narrow trach can be a problem.
But it is likely a palette issue.
Molly will sometimes gag
Molly will sometimes gag after eating as if something came up but most of the time it never actually comes out. I think part of it was how fast she was eating, so I got an elevated bowl. I also spread her meal out into several smaller amounts over a period of ten minutes. Also the vet gave her something for acid reflux. If it is happening in the morning, it could be that she has a lot of acid in her stomach from being empty overnight. I really want to know if Molly has an elongated pallate but I didn't know it had to be checked when they're under anesthesia so I didn't ask the vet to check when she got spayed....
Audrey used to
Every. Single. Day.
We tried switching foods, then finally tried raw.
She NEVER threw up a meal again. It's been 2 years now.
Cathy and Audrey
Cleo would throw up
with kibble and my sister did say that she stopped that when she was on the pre-packaged raw.
Eating too fast
I think she is eating too fast. My bulldog does that sometimes. I add water to her food to slow down her eating and I have had vets recommend getting the bowl that stops them from eating so fast. It is reflux!
