that's where we get it. We put it along the door and window sills to keep the scorpion and other bugs out, I'm sure you can use it on dogs, it's harmless to them.

it is not safe for them to eat! Since you want the worming effects as well as the flea control effects you need to get Food Grade only. I am not sure why they won't ship to Texa, did you try calling them?

It's just if ya use it for everything, like on flowers, or in the dogs food, it needs to be food grade. I first ate a big spoon of it in a glass of water before I gave it to my doggies. The cat won't eat it so I just dust her. I use other stuff for fleas too. The DE dust is good in the house and outside to kill bugs, sluggs, and I've heard even bed bugs, though I don't know about the Bed Bugs, thank goodness, I only saw one in my life and it was on an Amtrak train. Also I put it in a baby power bottle, [LABELED] and use a dust mask, and dust it around to get creepie crawlers in the basement and the yard. It is dirt, and can be harmful in the air if ya breath it, like in a dust storm, don't do that. Someone told me all this so I feel the need to pass it on. I like the idea of DE, but haven't captured any bugs to test it on.

do some strange things!!!!! with our dogs.....but you cathy were very right...because alot of people don't know their is a very serious difference....so good you caught it and explained
I will call to find out why they won't ship to Texas.
I came from my follow-up appt with the vet. She asked what I was feeding Bear. (It was a different vet in today). I told her raw and she didn't seem to happy about it. She talked about how the ecoli can be harmful and so on. She also recommended a vitamin like Pettabs.
Do you guys that feed raw give a vitamin?
All I can say is that I can definately see a difference in that he does not lick as much.
He does have a bad ear infection in his left ear (yeast) .The vet packed his ear with ointment and its supposed to time release over 2 weeks.
Thanks for all your help. I am sure I will have more questions and I will keep you posted.

to use a good fish oil...i use cod liver caplets.....i also use vit c...these are your two main vit needs don't get into pet tabs...their are to many chemicals and additives that might spark a allergies.....the yeast infection in the ear will go away with you on raw...the body is getting rid of that kibble crap....
as for e coli a dogs digestive system is shorter than ours....so they have e coli in their system....dogs fed on kibble if you do a stool sample guess what salomina and e coli are present....if your concerned sear the outside of your chicken all the bacteria is on the outside a quick sear will destroy any bacteria don't cook it....
