finding out the frequency myself. So far I have rubbed them down with it really good one time, that was maybe a week ago? and still no fleas or flea dirt. I do not know if it really kills the eggs, but I do know that it will kill the emerging larvae as soon as they crawl through it. I washed all their bedding and in the areas where they sleep the most I put the diatomaceous earth in the carpet and on the chair . I also sprinkled it onto the plastic tray at the bottom of Audrey's crate and all around her crate. I flea comb them regularly looking for fleas and so far not a one!
One thing though, be SURE you get Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth and NOT the pool filter kind.

she doesn't smell bad and her coat is soft and glossy and beautiful, so I don't usually give her a bath just to give her one. I did notice a few more fleas on my other dog Bridget today, so I flea combed her very carefully. Her skin seemed REALLY dry so I didn't want to put more DE on her, so I mixed up some essential oils in almond oil and put that on her instead.

Do you apply it after every bath?
Or will it remain effective in between baths?
Audrey hasn't had a bath since before Thanksgiving

Where do you get this stuff?
Noone around my area sells it. Is there a specific website?
Julia showed me this place
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=170348333300&Category=75582&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1
and I think the prices are great.
