I had posted on here earlier about my 7 year old bulldog having arthritis in the two front elbows. But now I am questioning if it might be something else. The x-rays did show arthritis, but the vet said it was minor. She has been limping for about a month and had a few good days without limping. We took her to her first acupuncture this past Friday (along with meds and supplements). I started reading about dog arthritis and it sounds like it is not something that comes on sudden, like in her case. She started limping after chasing a deer. The deer was outside our fence and I guess she thought she could catch it. My question is has anyone else had their bulldog get arthritis really quick like this? I am not questioning that she has it, but if that is really why she is still limping. I just feel so bad watching her try and get around.

Arthritis does not come on suddenly
sounds like she strained or sprained her legs. Maybe crate rest/no stairs/jumping on-off furniture etc. and some pain meds might be all she needs.
Good luck
