I just tried it. In the future, let us know if you having issues please Annie (with anything on here). Do you have a way of contacting Erica at Adoptabull or Lisa Lady Odie etc., I think they used it before.

I get mine at Tropical Traditions on line and it comes in a jar, no need for a feezer. It is great for US too, I only use coconut or olive oil nothing else, Coconut oil had fatty acids that are HEALTHY, the fat cells burn immediatly, they dont store. I get organic virgin, and would use it for my bully too

From the Whole Dog Journal that discusses the uses of coconut oil. They recommend the pure organic virgin stuff. I'm pretty sure you can google the article. It was called "Crazy About Coconut Oil".
You can either have the dog ingest it, or you can rub it on (and mine licked it off just as quickly! lol). I've used it on skin tabs with Kano with fair result.

I use coconut oil the organic cold pressed. It doesn't have to be the virgin kind actually the non virgin is supposed to be better. I put about 1-2 teaspoons in Casey's food and it helps tremendously with skin issues. Start slow with a small amount so they can get used to it. Coconut oil aslo has great anti- fungal properties which can also aid with health issues. I also have it to a friend to use with his pitbull that has many allergies and skin/coat issues. His dog can't have many kinds of fish so the coconut oil worked great and cleared his skin issues up and his coat finally looked healthy.
Great.

I think Cathy uses it.
As soon as I get my freezer I'm going to buy some from our co-op to try. I just bought a big jug of Salmon oil and I have to get through that first.
no need to freeze

My dogs love it
When I give it to them, I usually just spread some on toast and feed it to them as a treat.
Lisa....I had to laugh about the post about the coconut oil....
