Chloe has crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Never dreaming that the end was so near at hand our beloved Chloe died this afternoon at the Vets office. We had returned there due to the swelling in her face and the nausea she had been experiencing all night. After a shot to help with the vomiting and some benadryl she slept and appeared to be very comfortable. Upon waking however her breathing quickly changed and within half an hour she was gone. Fortunately we live around the corner and we able to be there at the end. I was not at all prepared for this sudden death and both my husband and I are devastated. The blessing for her and for us however is that she did not suffer, had almost 11 wonderful years with us and we with her and she was loved totally by all who knew and met her. Her spirit will be within our hearts forever.
