Hey everyone, Im sure this topic has been talked about numorous amounts of times, but just thought I would touch upon it again.... Our bully Ernie is 4 months old and has developed a Cherry Eye in one of his eyes. I know the majority of bully owners on this site are from the U.S(we live in Canada). but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how much the surgery costs to have this fixed? I am mainly looking for a ballpark figure so when we look around to have it done we have something to compare the price to. Any help would be great!!
P.S. - we have tried to massage it back into place, but have had no luck doing so :(

We took Tucker to a vet
We took Tucker to a vet opthalmologist (there are mixed feelings here, I think, about specialists, but I really like the one we use). He had double cherry eye and double distichia done at one time, our total was about $1500. The bullie vet that we use would have charged less for the cherry eye surgery but couldn't do the distichia at his facility. In the end, we decided to have it done at one time so that Tucker would have to only be under once.
Varies greatly
I have had a cherry eye done for $75.00 and been quoted one for $500.00.
Our current vet does one eye, tacking it for about 150 with the meds to take home.
I am in Wyoming though and have heard of vets in CA doing a single cherry eye removal for $800.
Depends where you are,
I am in Toronto, and I believe Rosco's was between $400-$500.
I am in Toronto too
Mr. Higgins had 2 cherry eyes tacked by an opthamologist when he was 13 weeks. He is 6 now and no problem since. It was about $1200.00 back then. Lucky me, my breeder paid all the insurance premiums for the first year and it was 80% covered.
