Can you worm a pregnant dog

Before we bred our dog our vet gave us some worm medicine for preventative measures. I forget to give it to her and now she is 34 days pregnant. I asked the vet but I can't remember what she said.............Due to I asked her many question.s.............
Do you know if it is safe or just wait until after puppies our born?
No!
The deworming medication I have says it is not to be used on pregnant bitches, so I would definitely question if the vet said to go ahead. You shouldn't ever hesitate to ask your vet again if you're not sure about giving medication....better than making a dangerous mistake! Best wishes for your girl's safe delivery of healthy puppies.
