Can switching to a new food cause a UTI?

I ask because I'm test driving a new brand.  And twice since we've tried it on Fatboy he's had accidents inside the house.  This is really surprising because he has been house trained since he was 12 weeks old.  Or maybe his pet bed might be the culprit?  (it needs to be washed again, and he's been rolling around in it a lot lately).

If he has one more accident I'm going to take him in but I'm hoping it's because he's still adjusting to our move.  That should correct on it's own right? *ugh* so many questions!!  any advise would be really helpful.

So are you saying he's peed twice on his pet bed?

If so, he's marking.  Newman used to do that, we finally took the bed away.  If he's having frequent accidents, it could be a uti, but if he's only doing it once in a while, it's likely behavioral.  He's very cute.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. He's pee'd in his bed only once before

Then he pee'd in the living room right after he pee'd outside.  I hope it's behavioral.  He loves that bed!  And yes he is cute....he's lucky we love him so much ;-)
