c-section incision

I clean incision daily with H2O2 and then sprinkle with nystatin powder to keep it dry. I don't pull stictches for 3 wks unless looking irritated. There should be no drainage or smell but some times a little redness. If you are concerned you should have your vet check it.

i dont put anything on them

we use staples....I just let them alone.  i watch for redness and swelling.

when you put anything on sutures it wicks and pulls the moisture in to the suture line and that keeps things moist and prevents healing.

i leave them in for 3 weeks.

I just kept mine clean & dry

I wouldn't want to put anything on an incisional area. if you need to clean it up, just wash with antibiotic wash and dry well...sometimes less is better:)
