Bumps in the pocket and thinning fur with flakes

So I was cleaning the tail pocket like normal every two to three days his last day was Sunday. I feel bumps about 3 or 4 in there. About the size of half a skeeter bite. No blood no ooze everything is normal except the bumps. Moving on, time for the brush I get towards his rear again. Lots of hair is coming out and it's flaky skin! He hasn't been itching there. I'm so confused and freaked out.

I wish I had info to help you
but really have no idea, unless they may be bites of some sort.
I use the furminator on Kofi, and she always sheds more around her rear. Could the flakes just be dry skin? Do you give him Grizzly salmon oil?
I freak out too whenever Kofi has an issue that I don't understand.
Hope someone can come up with advice to put your mind at ease.

He gets frontline every month because we are in tick nation. Currently I am telling myself that he sat on an ant hill until someone tells me what may have happened. He is never scratchy unless I may have missed a day of cleaning on his face and we have been outside a lot and he will only scratch at his face. He always gets lots of love every day from us so this is just so odd. And he always enjoys his little butt scratches....No he doesn't get any Grizzly Salmon Oil pills. Do you think he needs a supplement? How much do you give 6/7 months old 45 lbs?
And how is that grinder? Do you still have all your fingers?

I use the Grizzly liquid
and put a couple of pumps in a day. It is very good for the skin and coat. If I get any flaking now when I comb her, it is very slight.
I do still have my fingers, but thought of you post last time I used the cleaver ( careful of the fingers, careful of the fingers) :)
I haven't got the grinder yet, but it is suppose to be shipped today.
Another thing I do is add apple cider vinegar to Kofi's food each day (about one teaspoon of the unprocessed). I do still give NuVet Plus about three times a week until I get this raw feeding down better.
I hope your guy gets better soon....we have gobs of red ants, and I'm terrified that Kofi will get in them one day.

We call sub sandwiches grinders and most people outside of RI don't know what they are. I was thinking hmmm maybe she is trying to share the grinder with Kofi (surprised that she would lunge at food) Aaaah a meat grinder. hahaha LMAO
LOL, forgot about
grinder sandwiches. We had them in KC, but they were hollowed out bread with meatballs and cheese melted inside....YUM!
