I've created a presentation to help owners understand the Bulldog (or any brachycephalic breed) Upper Airway Syndrome. This presentation shows you the anatomy that is involved and what can be done to improve the problem. Early intervention leads to great improvement in the dog's ability to breath and exercise, thus improving both the quality of life as well as longevity.

Interesting...
May I ask what your incidence of a re-do on the palate resection is when performing it on a dog 4-6 months? I ask because my vet had recommended holding off (if it was even needed) till the dog had finished his growth spurt.
Interesting presentation, though! The audio aborted on a few of the slides (but I was able to read the info). My only other comment would have been to say that not all brachycephalics are going to have everything associated with this syndrome (you could drive a truck through Q's nostrils! lol) and that it can occur in varying degrees of severity and different combos. But, I'm sure you probably verbally convey that info.
