Lump on the actual tooth?
Or above it in the gumline?

Rocco had something like this a few months back. It was even bleeding when he played with certain toys. The vet said it was common for this breed as well of boxers to have overgrown gums. She said we can get it removed but it was not necessary. Since then (it's been about 5 months) it has gotten A LOT better.
Do a Google search on Epulis in dogs
One of our Bullies has had them removed twice so far. They can come back after being removed.
