brewers yeast for bulldogs?

Does anyone have any opinions on brewer's yeast for bullies? My dog is white, has plenty of allergies to grain. However, I just ordered nupro, a doggie supplement and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.

I personally wouldn't use it on a dog that you know has allergies.
