I just had my girl at the breeders for her second artificial insemination and the stud was VERY excited but during the process he got two cuts on his penis. We dont know where the cuts came from, fingernail, rock, twig we have no idea. we didn't notice the cuts when they happened, we just noticed that there was blood in the semen sample and then we noticed the fresh bleeding cuts. Anyway, the breeder assured me that the sample was still good as long as the blood didn't come from the ejaculate itself. It was evident that the blood came from the cuts because the cuts were dripping blood. I took the breeder for her word because she has over twenty years experience, but I am just looking for some unbiased educated opinions.
