In the past few days I have noticed Oscar has been biting at his back legs. When I start to pet him, he sits flat on his butt & starts to bite at his bak lower leg & paw. Does anyone know why he is doing this?

He was at my in-laws a couple of times last week & they just found out there dog had fleas!!!
What should I use for fleas, is there some medicine that's natural instead of that frontline stuff?

My dogs had a few fleas, and as soon as I noticed them I rubbed diatomaceous earth all over them, then sprinkled it around where they sleep. Then I flea combed them daily. I also used essential oils in a spray bottle. It really worked! I honestly was SO skeptical, I fully expected those few fleas to turn into a major infestation. I was determined though to give a natural way a try. I HATE fleas!! Hate them! I can't tell you how ecstatic I was when the natural things worked! With no neorotoxins in my dogs!

lavendar, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint and cypress. I had one dog who's skin waas VERY dry from the DE, so I put the oils in almond oil for her and rubbed her with it good. For the others I mixed it in a spray bottle with witch hazel, only because witch hazel was all I had and I didn't feel like going to the store for alcohol. The DE is what really worked the best to get rid of the fleas they had on them, and the ones that were in their bed/carpet where they slept.
Are you sure that he
doesn't have fleas?
Could he have gotten into some red ants?
Kofi had fleas awhile back and I switched her from Sentinel to Comfortis.
My response as well.
Make sure he doesn't have fleas! I have been having to treat for them every 3 weeks all summer long, they are really bad this year.

I think that's a possibility

thanks Cathy! what oils did you use?
he stopped biting at his legs, but a daily spray down won't do any harm!
