Betty's gooey nose fold
Submitted by DSimas on February 28, 2011 - 12:22pmBetty and I are getting ready to go CAMPING this Saturday! I've been holding thumbs that she'll stay healthy and not throw a wrench in our plans. So far so good, except for what looks like the start of an infected nose rope. I usually use a baby wipe every day or so to keep it clean, but it's red and when you lift it, gooey. I have Tresaderm on hand in the fridge and think that some drops of that daily may help?
What about Vagisil? I got some in my doggie pharmacy shelf, but don't recall what it treats?

I use Desitin for gooey folds...
I clean with peroxide, dry with a soft cotton square and then apply Desitin. Usually takes a few days but it clears up.
I also use Desitin for goo.
All types of goo on either end:-) I use extra strength...

Does Chum just have a monsterous nose rope?
It is kinda huge when you lift it up it is deep and I can cover his eyes and play peek-a-boo.

Onslow has a tiny non existent one. I like it because its one less thing to clean/get infected.
