Bentley needs to be in a bubble
Submitted by bullylvr on June 6, 2011 - 4:07pmThanks for all of your advice with Bentley's acne. A few spots are a lot better but he has a couple pretty big shiners. I'm at such a loss, he's on grain free Acana, I've tried different proteins. We wash his toys (none are rubber), his stainless steel bowls, I've been using the non-alcohol stridex and switching it up with witch hazel....washing his face gentley every day....

It may just be an age thing:-)
Sophie went through that. She just had to outgrow it. She is 5 and a half now and fine.

It might just take some antibiotics to clear it up..
Ollie had some acne spots on his chin that wouldn't go away, and they gave him a weeks worth and they were gone.
There are a few very large
There are a few very large stubborn ones and the creases on his chin are really red. Possibly raw or just yeast....I guess back to the vet if it's not improved in the next day or so.
There's always that fine line between overreacting and waiting a moment too long!

He will be 4 years old next
He will be 4 years old next month. I hope he's zit free for his big day! I am contemplating going back to the vet but since we've already been through one round of antibiotics, I was trying to clear it up via other methods.
