A bald spot?
Submitted by KaidasMom on July 18, 2012 - 1:53pmWhen Kaida came home to us about 3 weeks ago, she had a bald spot that looked like part of her shoulder wrinkle (kinda). We were told that the breeder's vet said it was nothing to be concerned about, but was a birthmark/defect and not harmful.
We took her to our vet and she just wanted to watch it - said it may have been where she was vaccinated. She's up for her last distemper round and not up for rabies vaccination until September. She also said there appeared to be a bit of scar tissue under the bald spot.
We noticed that the skin is a bit lumpy there - but nothing too scary.
Has anyone else had that issue?
Onslow has a "birthmark"
on his left leg where there is a little spot with no hair. It is not lumpy or anything but it has been there all his life.
Sophia has a bald spot from a vaccination.
I believe hers was from her rabies vaccination. It happens.
