Even in the Toronto-GTA area? We want to get Georgia spayed but our reg vet(although good) dosen't seem to have a whole lot of bulldog experience. My gut feeling is saying to get the spay done somewhere else? Just a little spooked about putting Georgia under. Thanks.
My vet is great, he is in Toronto though.
Not sure how far you want to travel. He is in the beach area. I have had 4 Bulldogs spayed/neutered there, and he has many bully patients. The other vets are good to, but mine is the best..lol. I will email you the info.
hey Miranda
I thought my vet was the best for bullies in Toronto! Who do you go to? I go to Deji Odetoyinbo at Bathurst Animal Clinic. Bathurst/Wilson. I do not live near him at all. My Mr. Higgins and my past bully have really put him to the test. Wow he passes with flying colours.
Thank you very much!
vet availability
I live in Welland and the vets at Welland Animal Clinic have administered anesthetic to my Chloe on two different occasions. She had no problems at all with it. They have a number of bulldog patients and for the the 8 years we have used them we have been totally satisfied. Their number in Welland is 905 735 7410. Tell them Carol recommended them. It's nice to have a local vet.
Thank you so much!
I have a great relationship with my vet,
So I think he's the best..lol. The others at the practice are good too, but most people ask to see him. There are alot of bully's that go there, and a mastiff breeder, a boxer breeder, and many many rescues. He is very rescue friendly . I go to Beaches animal hospital, the vet we see is Dr Dillworth. The clinic also has great hours, they are open 7 days a week until 10pm. I have been to many vets over the years, but once I found him I stayed. They are a bit more pricey being in the beach, but so worth it. They don't specialize in bully's, but he has been awsome. I have had many foster dogs there of every breed. There is another vet clinic in the beach that I won't name, that claims to specialize in bully's, but when he quoted me $1,200 to do a cherry eye surgery, I was so not going there. If your vet is awsome, that's good to know, it's always good to have back up. I like that my vet has gone above and beyond for my guys. He studied up on spina bifida on his own time when I got my first SB bully, and he has been mighty helpful and kind.
