Anyone else made this mistake???

Hi everyone, just wanted to see if this has ever happened to anyone else. Gemma is 8 months old and for the most part, fully housebroken. Last night I let her outside about midnight and she went right back to sleep on the floor. I thought that she had been doing well holding it all night so I thought i'd leave her out of her crate BIG MISTAKE!! This AM I got up, found one poop and three pees. I didn't scold her since I thought it was my fault for trusting her. I let her out again as normal, she then went pee on the carpet 5 minutes later. She knew she did wrong when I raised my voice a little. After that, we went away for about an hour, I put her in her crate. I came home and she had pooped in the crate two times..she hasn't done this for a long time!!!! Have I ruined the house idea of housebreaking?? What is the best thing for me to do next??

is she spayed yet? Any chance she's coming into heat? Or an upset stomach? Maybe a UTI?

I'm getting her spayed next week, she was in heat about a month ago. You may be right on the upset stomach, she just threw up a little bit ago too but it was the yellow foamy kind. Hope it isn't a UTI, she had one of those before when she was really small. Oh dear! What a mess!!

just go back to square one. Crate time with lots of praise and reward for doing the business outside. They can have setbacks. Just start over. Good luck.
