Advice for more frequent limping

Hi All -

My 2 year old bulldog, Butler, has been experiencing limping more often.  By this, I mean it seems to happen now every few weeks, such as after an extensive "zoomie" episode or day of doggie daycare.  It freaks me out at first and then after a few hours or maybe even a day or two of crate rest, he becomes fine again.  Usually it is his back legs, but today, it is the front left leg (and it looks bad).  When I push and pull lightly, he doesn't whine or snap though.  We will do crate rest, but if it appears the same, we'll go to the vet.  Anyways... my main question is: should I be doing supplements or anything to *try* to help with this?  We feed him Fromm's, so he is on some good stuff.  Thanks for any advice!

We give our guys glusocomine...

Costco has one that also has MSM in it, we give the human variety, lots cheaper than at pet stores.

Limping...

I would extend the crate rest beyond the 2 days when he shows improvement--a week or even 2.  But, since it moves from front to back, I would get a snap test in case of Lymes or anaplasmosis that can be easily cured with antibiotic.   Good luck!
