Given all the controversy over the new BDW Logo it's been decided to have a members dog represent the site. We chose Guido's Big Sugar Bud...call name Buddy as the first dog to win the BDW BULLDOG MODEL OF THE YEAR AWARD, and to have his picture on the Logo. We would like to be the first to congratulate Buddy as the Charter member of the BDW BULLDOG MODEL OF THE YEAR AWARD. Since Buddy is so pretty and has such a magnetic personality we are thinking of making him BULLDOG MODEL of the DECADE.

A BIG jar ov DIS!!!! heehee

As I've mentioned before, we are keeping an Olde English bulldog (Smedley) for a friend for the next 6 months. He is a big, strong, 65 pound fellow, and he drags me all over the place when I take him out. The guy he belongs to currently has him in a harness that I just attach the lease too, but that's not giving me enough control when he takes off after something.

This is a busy time for me. We are in the middle of test prep with Kindergarten, the high school choirs are going to contests and performances which I play for, and it's tax time! Yikes!!!

So i took my cocker Danny in for his first grooming today since i adopted him last week. While there we were discussing what to do with Danny's tail since it's not cropped like most Cockers are. Since he's not a perfect example of the breed standard i decided to have a little fun with his grooming and do a English Setter tail on him i guess its called a "Flag". After talking about this the groomer behind the counter said that eventually Danny's tail would be the norm for cockers and any dog with a docked tail.
