Diesels eye is very swollen and there is a red circle around it- I have cleaned it with a warm compress and gave him benadryl- i am so tight on money I would hate to take him to the vet if it is something i can treat at home, but I would also hate to have him suffering- has anyone seen anything like this with their bullies. I have VPI pet insurance so taking him to the vet is an option- jsut wanted to check first!

Has anyone had there dogs teeth cleaned? If so how much can I excpect to pay.

Audrey is coughing/gagging/vomiting. It's not like a normal stomach heaving vomit, it's definitely a coughing up mucous, and gagging on it. She's been doing it off and on but this last "on" seems to be much longer. AT what point should I become worried about it? SHe hasn;t had any water or food sonce last night.

When Jazzy wakes up she really seems to be breathing really heavily as if she had just been playing. Should I be alarmed at this? She does usually get better in a bit. Not sure if I should be worried, even though I am.

when she first came home

is it going to be ok? He's had an IDC on and off for a little while now. It comes and then goes away for a few months and then pops up again the same spot. This last time it got really big and I came home the other day and there was blood all over his paw. Apparently it popped. It's looking smaller and not as inflamed now (and of course I cleaned it) but do you think it will be ok? Any suggestions?

So Gus did very well yesterday at the vets office.

In the morning..first thing..he got a physical so they could see how deaf dogs handle them and their reactions.
Next they did several tests to see how he would respond to different situations within the clinic
